About
Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) with a Master’s degree in Social Work. Amy believes everyone has the inherent strength to navigate life’s challenges. She is dedicated to helping individual’s access that strength in a safe and supportive environment. Amy is deeply committed to providing culturally-competent, trauma-informed, and compassionate care to help her client’s achieve their personal goals.
In sessions, Amy draws from evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Her clinical work has included supporting individuals through life transitions, managing anxiety and depression, and navigating cultural adjustment. Her approach is tailored to each individual’s unique needs, creating a collaborative space for people to feel heard, respected, and understood.
Her passion for this work is also rooted in her own life experiences. She has firsthand knowledge of navigating complex family systems, the demands of caregiving, and the emotional journey that comes with supporting loved ones through difficult health and life challenges. These experiences have instilled in her a deep sense of empathy and a practical understanding of how resilience and compassion can be cultivated. She believes people’s life experiences, no matter how challenging, are a source of strength that guide your therapeutic journey.
